The project
Sea Pearl Beach Resort & Spa is a five-star luxury resort on Inani Beach in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh. The resort has a lot to offer: rooms and suites, dining, wellness, activities, a water park, events, and more. Its new website needed to make that breadth easy to explore while conveying the experience of being there.
Shakib designed and developed the new Sea Pearl website, which launched on 1 September 2026.
I directed the project end to end, from the initial concept and visual design through development and launch. The client was Sea Pearl Beach Resort & Spa Cox’s Bazar, and the finished site is live at seapearlcoxsbazar.com.

The challenge
A resort website has to serve several needs at once. Guests want to understand the property, compare accommodation, discover experiences, and find a clear path to booking. The marketing team needs to keep the content current as offers, events, and resort information change. The site also has to feel polished on a phone, where many guests first encounter it.
This meant balancing a content-heavy site with fast page delivery and a visual experience that still felt like a luxury destination. I worked with multiple stakeholders throughout the project, aligning feedback across design, content, and development so the final product served both guests and the team managing it.
Design and development
I shaped the site around the guest journey: introduce the resort, then make it easy to move into rooms, dining, wellness, activities, and events. Photography gives each section a sense of place, while clear navigation and calls to action help visitors find the details they need.
I built the frontend with Astro, a good fit for a site with many content-rich pages. It keeps the pages lightweight and fast to load, supports search-friendly page content, and lets the experience stay responsive across desktop and mobile. I designed the layouts for smaller screens as part of the core experience, rather than treating mobile as a scaled-down desktop page.

The individual room pages give guests more detail before they choose a stay, while the experience pages show what makes the resort more than a place to sleep.

A site the marketing team can manage
I also built a custom admin panel so the marketing team can update site content without writing code. It gives them a practical place to manage the information guests see, including page content and site-wide details, without relying on a developer for routine edits.

The result
The result is a new website that presents Sea Pearl as a destination, works across screen sizes, and gives guests a straightforward way to explore the resort and plan a stay. Astro supports a fast, content-focused frontend; the custom admin panel gives the marketing team control over day-to-day updates. Bringing concept, design, development, and stakeholder feedback together under one direction helped make the finished experience coherent from first visit to content management.
